What
is an EFT treatment like?

The purpose of a treatment by Emotional
Freedom Technique (EFT) is to discharge chemicals that
have clogged the cell receptor sites in your body.
These chemicals keep you from performing well
or trap you in self-sabotaging thoughts or behaviors.
EFT works on a cellular level to remove mental,
emotional, physical and mechanical blocks, allowing
your body to return to a state of balance and
allowing you to function at your optimal level.
Treatment begins with a brief discussion of the
goal or issue, followed by a progression of tapping on your face and hands using your own fingertips,
while focusing on the challenge you’re facing.
As chemicals are flushed from your cells, emotional
intensity quickly shifts from high to low. You
experience a physical feeling of relaxation, a
lowered heart rate and deeper breathing. Thinking
moves into a more rational, neutral mode because
the brain is not flooded by past or recent disturbances.
Adaptable to many circumstances, EFT is just
as effective over the phone as it is in
person.
Once the process has been learned, people can
use it on their own or with the guidance of a
practitioner. Some clients require only one or
two sessions, either to resolve an issue or to
learn the technique well enough to apply it to
themselves.
The tapping was so strong, yet gentle, and steady.
It was “grounding.”
